Going the extra mile...

Sometimes I have to get down and dirty to get the perfect shot. It’s quite normal to find me lying flat on the floor or balancing precariously on a chair to get the best perspective. Despite the aches and pains, it’s always fun, and the results are worth it!

I have over 35 years experience in the photography industry and am a fully qualified member of the SWPP. I gained my licentiateship of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers in 2002. I keep up to date with current industry practice, developments and trends by attending workshops and courses on a regular basis.

I am always prepared and will have visited your venue prior to the wedding date to liaise with key staff and check out the best locations. I have extensive knowledge of many wedding venues and locations in the South and West Wales area and this helps to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

I am also available to shoot destination weddings. Often it can be better to use a photographer you know and trust to give you that peace of mind, instead of taking a chance with someone supplied by your hotel or holiday company.

I have had the pleasure of photographing over 650 weddings and many of my couples return for baby and family portraits as well as other celebrations and events. I also have many excellent reviews on Facebook.

I am proud to say I have won 3 Prestige Awards to date. South Wales Lifestyle photographer of the year 2020/21 and Wales Event Photographer of the year in both 2022/23 and 2023/24. I have also been shortlisted in the category “Best Photographer” in the Welsh Wedding Awards in 2018 and 2019.

In my spare time I love music, cinema, travel and supporting Swansea City AFC. #YJB !!
